Who we are
Rizvest ("Rizvest", "we", "us") provides Shariah-compliance screening and portfolio tools at rizvest.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: asrasarkeratl@gmail.com.
Information we collect
- Account information — your email address and authentication details when you create an account.
- Portfolio data you provide — the tickers, share quantities, and any cost basis you enter or import.
- Brokerage data — if you choose to connect a brokerage, our provider (SnapTrade) securely retrieves your holdings so we can screen them. We never see or store your brokerage login credentials.
- Payment information — handled by Stripe. We do not store your full card details; we retain only a customer/subscription reference and status.
- Usage data — basic logs (e.g. pages viewed, screens run) to operate and improve the service.
How we use your information
- To provide screening verdicts, portfolio halal-health analysis, watchlists, and alerts.
- To create and manage your account and subscription.
- To communicate with you about your account and service updates.
- To maintain security and improve the product.
Service providers we share with
We share the minimum data necessary with trusted providers who process it on our behalf:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Stripe — subscription payments.
- SnapTrade — optional brokerage connectivity (retrieves your holdings when you connect).
- MizanAPI — our data platform that supplies screening verdicts and market data (receives the ticker being screened, not your identity).
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Email provider — transactional emails (e.g. sign-in and account notices).
Data security & retention
We use encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable infrastructure providers to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to safeguard your information. We retain your data while your account is active and delete or anonymize it on request or a reasonable period after account closure, unless we must keep it to meet legal obligations.
Your rights & choices
You can access, correct, export, or delete your personal information — email asrasarkeratl@gmail.com and we will act on your request. You can disconnect a linked brokerage at any time, and cancel your subscription from your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA.
Cookies
We use strictly-necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to remember basic preferences. We do not use them for third-party advertising.
Children
Rizvest is not directed to children and is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; we will revise the "last updated" date above and, for material changes, notify you.
